Souvenir mugs are everywhere. Many rely on a repeated template with a city name swapped into the same design. A hand-drawn community mug follows a different path.
Hand-drawn means place-specific
Each of my mugs begins with research into one real community. I draw the architecture, gathering places, symbols, and local details individually. The resulting design could not simply be relabeled for another town.
The imperfections are part of the artwork
A hand-drawn line has movement and personality. It reflects the human decision behind every window, roofline, tree, and letter. Those choices give the finished mug warmth that a standardized graphic cannot reproduce.
Local knowledge shapes the design
Community members and partner shops help identify what belongs on the mug. Their input can reveal a beloved detail that would never appear on a tourist checklist but matters deeply to the people who live there.
The purchase supports a local connection
A mass-produced souvenir may be sold anywhere. My community mugs are created in collaboration with local coffee shops and small businesses, which often become their exclusive home. Buying one supports the place represented on the mug and the people who help make the community distinctive.
The difference is not only how the artwork was made. It is why it was made, who helped shape it, and whether the finished object truly feels like it belongs to the town.
