Fictional satire. This story is just for fun. The people, quotes, and events are invented.

A woman committed to simplifying her home encountered a small complication Saturday when she discovered a mug depicting the town where she grew up.

“I’m really trying to be more intentional,” she said, picking it up with both hands.

Her husband cautiously reminded her that they had donated six mugs the previous weekend.

“Yes, but those didn’t have the library.”

The situation developed further when she noticed the park where she learned to ride a bike and a building her grandmother used to call “the old bank.”

She purchased the mug, explaining that minimalism was about keeping only what mattered.

The entire town apparently qualified.
