Wheaton blends a vibrant downtown with beautiful parks, cultural landmarks, and traditions that invite people to gather. Cantigny, Cosley Zoo, Blanchard Hall, the French Market, and the Prairie Path give residents and visitors a thoughtful mix of history, nature, and hometown life.
The collaboration
Wheaton is where our family goes to church, gathers with friends, and enjoys everyday adventures. From The Little Popcorn Store to Cosley Zoo and Cantigny, I drew the places that make it special to us.
What began as a gift for friends became The Wheaton Mug, first released through The Guild around Mother’s Day.
The story behind the mug
Inside the illustration
Blanchard Hall’s castle-like limestone design honors Wheaton College’s first two presidents and anchors its historic campus.
Robert R. McCormick’s former Wheaton estate now welcomes visitors to gardens, historic grounds, and the First Division Museum.
Cosley Zoo brings farm animals and native wildlife to a five-acre setting dedicated to education and conservation.
Downtown Wheaton’s shops and restaurants meet the Prairie Path near the pavilion that hosts its French Market.
Inspired by French outdoor markets, Wheaton’s French Market gathers produce, flowers, specialty foods, and handcrafted goods.
At Wheaton, the former electric-railroad corridor branches toward Elgin and Aurora as part of the Illinois Prairie Path.
