Glen Ellyn has the warmth of a small town with the arts, shops, restaurants, and recreation of a lively community. Lake Ellyn, the Prairie Path, Glenbard West, and the historic downtown give residents a strong sense of home and visitors plenty to enjoy.

The collaboration

Blackberry Market and Sunday memories in Glen Ellyn.

The Glen Ellyn Mug followed the La Grange Mug after Blackberry Market began carrying that design so successfully. Collaborating with Blackberry Market again felt natural because Glen Ellyn is filled with beautiful places and strong community pride.

Lake Ellyn is one of my favorite elements, along with the Christmas tree lighting that uses a fire-truck ladder. It was a unique artistic challenge to represent something glowing in the darkness on a white mug. The downtown atmosphere and the affection residents have for their community also guided the design.

Our family has many connections here. My husband and I have friends in Glen Ellyn, and our children do too. I get my hair done in town, and after church on Sundays we often go to Blackberry Market for lunch. Our kids especially love the cinnamon rolls. I am so thankful for the community’s enthusiastic reception of the mug.
