Burlington balances an inviting waterfront with lively neighborhoods and the natural beauty of the Niagara Escarpment. Spencer Smith Park, Brant Street Pier, the Royal Botanical Gardens, and a welcoming downtown make the city a wonderful place to live and an easy destination to love.
The collaboration
The Burlington Mug began through mutual friends who knew Jimmy, the owner of Tamp Coffee Co. They believed a mug celebrating the community served by his shop would be a wonderful fit, and collaborating with Jimmy turned it into a fun and meaningful project.
Burlington offered so many beautiful things to draw. I especially love the pier and waterfront, Village Square, and the wonderful red telephone booth. Together they capture some of the culture, character, and beauty that make Burlington such an inviting place.
