Community
Tybee Island is a relaxed coastal community with a proud maritime story and a deep connection to the sea. The lighthouse, pier, North Beach, nearby Fort Pulaski, and marine life make it a cherished home and an inviting island getaway for visitors.
The collaboration
Tybee Island was the first vacation spot I turned into a mug. Our family had an amazing vacation there, and I came home still thinking about how beautiful it was and how much we had enjoyed our time together.
I told Matt I wanted to make a Tybee Island Mug, and then I did. It began as a way to remember a place our family loved. I drew the island details one at a time and brought them together in a design that others who love Tybee could enjoy too.
The finished mug is available at Seaweeds, where visitors can bring a little piece of the island home.
