Duluth rises above Lake Superior with a character shaped by water, industry, history, and the outdoors. Canal Park, the Aerial Lift Bridge, Enger Tower, and the city’s dramatic shoreline make it a beloved home and a destination that stays with visitors long after they leave.
The collaboration
Duluth is part of our family’s journey two to four times each year. We often spend an evening there while traveling between Chicago and Northwestern Ontario, where we once lived and where we still have many friends and connections. Duluth has become a place where we love to stay, rest, and explore together.
Yellow Bike Coffee was one of the first coffee shops we visited in the city. We connected so well with Shannon, love her personality and the atmosphere she and her team have created, and knew it would be a wonderful place to collaborate on a Duluth Mug.
The finished mug celebrates a city our family genuinely enjoys. It makes a meaningful souvenir for visitors, but also an everyday mug for anyone who has lived in Duluth or simply loves the city.
