Community
Bondurant, Wyoming
Bondurant is a close-knit Wyoming community defined by wide-open country, ranching heritage, and the mountains that rise around the Hoback River valley. Its quiet beauty, local traditions, and access to the Gros Ventre wilderness make it a special home and a memorable stop for travelers.
The Bondurant Mug began with local research and a collaboration with Branding Iron Coffee & Empanadas. Ashley translated the community’s recognizable places and shared references into an original drawing designed for everyday use.
Each element began as an individual hand drawing. Ashley refined the artwork and arranged the pieces into a continuous design made to wrap around a ceramic mug, creating a keepsake that feels specific to Bondurant.

The hand-drawn process behind The Bondurant Mug
The creative process
Finding the rhythm of Bondurant, one drawing at a time.
I drew St. Hubert the Hunter, Hoback River, Gros Ventre Mountains, and Bondurant Basin as individual pieces before bringing them together. Their different shapes and stories gave me the rhythm for a wraparound composition that feels layered, personal, and specific to Bondurant.
A meaningful local gift
A hometown gift that feels unmistakably Bondurant.
A thoughtful choice for a realtor closing gift, new homeowner, or longtime resident, the artwork turns familiar Bondurant, Wyoming landmarks into a useful keepsake rather than an ordinary souvenir.
