A household disagreement escalated Saturday when a man announced that his wife’s hometown mug collection had exceeded the available cabinet space.
“We have to be realistic about what we actually use,” he said, standing beneath a garage shelf containing three broken sprinklers and a box labeled “GOOD WOOD.”
His wife suggested donating several promotional mugs acquired through insurance companies.
The man declined, explaining that those were perfectly good mugs.
He subsequently proposed a one-in, one-out policy, which his wife agreed to apply immediately to the garage.
At press time, negotiations had been suspended while he explained the difference between regular extension cords and his good extension cords.
