Community
St. Augustine is a coastal city where centuries of history remain part of everyday life. The Castillo de San Marcos, Bridge of Lions, lighthouse, Flagler College, and St. George Street create an extraordinary sense of place for residents and an unforgettable experience for visitors.
The collaboration
Our family spent time in St. Augustine and really enjoyed exploring the city together. After our visit, I wanted to make a mug that would remind us of the time we shared there.
I drew the historic places and familiar sights that give St. Augustine its character, then arranged them into a wraparound design. I hoped the finished mug could be a reminder for other people who love St. Augustine too.
The mug found a local home at Juniper Market, where residents and visitors can take that reminder with them.
