North Little Rock blends riverfront recreation, local arts, and neighborhood character just across the Arkansas River. The Argenta Arts District, Old Mill, USS Razorback, Junction Bridge, and river trail create a city residents are proud to share and visitors enjoy exploring.
The collaboration
After creating mugs for Blackberry Market’s Illinois locations, I was excited to make one for their North Little Rock shop too. It gave us a chance to continue the collection while making a design that belonged to this community.
Whitney and Peter Loibner shared ideas about the places and details that should go on the mug. Their local knowledge helped me choose and refine the drawings, and I loved learning more about North Little Rock’s history as we worked together.
It was a genuinely enjoyable collaboration. I drew the selected elements individually and arranged them into a wraparound design made specifically for North Little Rock.

Historic Main Street, galleries, restaurants, and performances form North Little Rock’s downtown core.
The stone and concrete mill in T. R. Pugh Memorial Park is one of the city’s most photographed landmarks.
The historic submarine anchors the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum on the riverfront.
The former railroad bridge now carries pedestrians between both sides of the Arkansas River.
Cyclists and walkers follow the river through parks, bridges, and downtown views.
The Arkansas State Capitol is a familiar feature of the broader skyline viewed across the river.
