Community
Lakeview is a Chicago neighborhood full of energy, lakefront beauty, and the familiar character of city blocks lived in and loved. Wrigley Field, Belmont Harbor, the Music Box Theatre, local architecture, and neighborhood businesses make it a place residents claim with pride and visitors return to often.
The collaboration
The Lakeview Mug grew out of my collaboration with the Bakehouse team. After I first created the Roscoe Village Mug, they asked whether I would also develop mugs for their Lakeview and Southport locations.
Lakeview is such a beautiful and lively Chicago neighborhood. It was fun gathering the landmarks, experiences, and little details that make the area recognizable and turning them into a design for the community.

Historic Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, anchors the Wrigleyville part of Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.
Belmont Harbor brings sailboats, yacht clubs, and skyline views to Lakeview’s Lake Michigan shoreline.
The Music Box is a 1929 Southport Avenue movie palace known for independent, international, classic, and cult films.
Lake Michigan forms Lakeview’s eastern edge, where waterfront parks and the Lakefront Trail meet the neighborhood.
Belmont’s elevated CTA station connects Lakeview riders with the Red, Brown, and Purple lines.
